CSI #68

This is for the challenge at CSI, I love the challenges they have but find it hard to complete in a week.
The Scheme:
Green:  Background
Yellow: On triangles and in his jum[er
White gray:  Stripes in jumper
Black: Photo matting and film strip
Rust:  Stamped Background
My Evidence:
Cloud, Circles/polka dots on the background stamping, an owl in the tree and triangles above the film strip.
My Testimony:
Document something silly - well I was silly to think I could get my grandson to play just so I could get the perfect photo!!!
The date of the photo has a 5 in it.

Our Aussie Animals

This is for a challenge over at Do More with Less and it was suggested by a fabulous Aussie lady, Lizzy Hill.  This was quite a challenge for me because the only time I've cut a photo in recent years was when Georgia Heald had a challenge to cut a photo up, that was hard but this one did make sense to me because I could cut out the pieces I didn't want ie. people in the background.  Thanks for allowing me to push my boundaries with this challenge Lizzy.
Here it is and yep it's one of me.
These photos were taken on a trip to Tasmania in 2005.

Products Used:
Prima Marketing Lifetime Collection Paper from Sassy Scrapper
Kaisercraft Base Coat Paper and 'Love' stamp
Dylusions Border Stamp
Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paint
American Craft Amy Tangerine Alpha
Ingvild Bolme Chalk Inks (love these thanks Belinda)
Dusty Attic Branches Chipboard
Stampin Up ink
Dimesnional Magic
Mesh from stash

You Brighten Up My Day

This one's for a2z scraplets quote challenge
This is my only granddaughter and she's at an age where lots of things in life are difficult but she brighten's up our day, she's great company and I love the girly time with her.
She stayed over recently and we just sat next to each other and I took photos, some silly and posed and others more serious, this is one of the funny ones.
Products Used:
Kaisercraft Lake House Patterned Paper and small alpha
A2Z title (I really love their range of titles)
Versa Color Inks
Ranger Liquid Pearls
Ooops! don't know what happened to the 'UP' in my quote, better go fix it...

Tasmania

This layout is for a sketch challenge over at Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge

Products Used:
Kaisercraft Pickled Pear Patterned Paper Collection
American Craft Amy Tangerine Alpha
Adornit Carolee Creations Alpha
Decorated Buttons from Belinda
Prima Marketing Small Bird
Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Ingvild Bolme Chalk Ink
Quik Cutz Nesting Lace Doily

Unfortunately these papers so seem to photograph very well for me and I've even adjusted the lighting in PSE.  It probably doesn't help that the photo is quite dark as well.  It did bring back some nice memories though.

One of those weeks

Have you ever had one of those weeks where nothing seems to pull together as you want them to?  Well that's my week this week.  I created this for a reason but it just didn't gel for me this time, I think I over thought it and tried to put to many different things on the page.  I don't mind constructive criticism as I nearly threw it out myself.
