Autumn's in the Air and Hello Cupcake

Good morning fellow crafters, today I'm up on the Shop and Crop Scrapbooking Blog  with a couple of layouts, the first with the paper range Photoplay Falling Leaves.  Here's a little sneak and you can see the full layout on the link above.

You Have My Heart

The challenge at Kraft Plus this month is to use Paint Swatches (and these cost nothing) so I took inspiration from DT Member Agnes and created this layout.

I loved the texture I could get by not pressing the pieces down flat and the colours you can choose from is endless, I think I used eight different swatches here.  I also used a Kirarina Winks gold ink pen to roughly sketch around the photos, some Kaisercraft Alpha and the Hip Kit Club alpha for the larger part of the title.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Shop and Crop - You Have My Heart

I loved the sketch over at Shop and Crop Shop and Crop that I just had to give it a go.  I used an older Heidi Swapp stencil with Colour Blast Bling Paste and Kaisercraft Patterned Paper and background stamp with Brilliance Gold Ink.  I've also used one of my Charms Creations Heavenly Hearts topped with a tiny wooden heart and gorgeous little gold bow and I can't resist some tiny word stickers from Tim Holtz.

I did however find it difficult to photograph the layout with the shiny gold paper that included my title cut from the Cameo Silhouette machine, film strip and some of the paper strips.

Thank you for taking the time to visit and comment.

Rare Times

This is truly rare to get a photo of these two with me so we grabbed the opportunity at a recent birthday party.

Hiatus...

I've had a hiatus for the last few months and can't wait to get back into scrapping - I need some inspiration and have been looking back over some of my own older layouts and also checking out the younger (than myself) scrapbookers.  I'm loving the clean and more simple look from others (I do realise even though pages look simple they have lots of thought put into the process).  I think there's a scrap crop at Paper Issues very soon so I might start there.
Here are a few of my older layouts.

My mum in her twenties (it had to be a vintage layout)

The first layout I ever entered in a challenge and I won a prize (my beautiful daughter)

This one made a one-page position in Scrapbooking Memories Magazine some time ago

That's it for now, I hope to have more to show very soon.
Thanks you for stopping by today and I love to read your comments.
